Then, somewhere between the end-of-the-year drinking, feasting, and more drinking, the group over at 3hive.com wrote about not one, not two, but three SBR acts- Benji, the Two Man Gentlemen Band, and the Unsacred Hearts. They said nice things, such as, "With their Dixieland, Tin Pan Alley, goofy slapstick kazoo-billy rock, [the Two Man Gentlemen Band] tend to have a blast in the recording studio" and "I fell for [The Unsacred Hearts'] elastic, spastic sound and booze-soaked narratives." Aside from this being the first ever recorded instance of the Gentlemen being referred to as "rock" of any variety, we humbly thank the proprietors of the site for their attentive ears and friendly words. find the permalinks (with MP3s) to the original posts here: Hearts, Benji, the Gentlemen

If that doesn't make your new year sweet enough, be sure to catch the Gents as they tour the country, The Octagon as they head up north, Looker with a few local dates, and MIG in DC. Dates over here.
